Malviya National Institute of Technology is beilieved to be established in 1963. It is also one of the 18th NITs established in different states of India. Moreover, it has 4 statutory bodies namely, the Board of Governors, the Finance Committee the building, Works Committee and the Senate. MNIT fully funded by MHRD, the Government of India, New Delhi. The non-plan and planned budget is of the order of Rs. 12 crores and Rs. 6 crores per annum. The Institute is blooming under the dynamic leadership of Sh. Mukul S. Kasliwal, Managing Director, S Kumars Ltd., who is the Chairman of Board of Governors. Many famous persons from different walks of life established themselves in India are sitting on the statutory bodies and are helping the MNIT with their rich experiences of their's gained during pursuing the course.
